Social Involvement
Making a Meaningful and Active Contribution to the Community
At Syscomax, social engagement isn’t a one-off gesture: it’s an essential part of our culture and identity. Since our inception, we’ve believed that construction goes far beyond walls and foundations. It also means actively contributing to the well-being of the communities where we operate.
For several years, we have supported local community organizations, including Moisson Laurentides, as well as the fundraising activities of the Saint-Jérôme Regional Hospital. This commitment is also reflected in the involvement of Sylvain Robitaille, a member of the hospital foundation’s board of directors since 2011.
Our commitment is also evident in our community. In 2014, Mélissa Robitaille served as honorary chair of the Laurentides Autism Foundation Walk, while Syscomax teams helped carry out renovation work at the respite care homes in Saint-Jérôme and Blainville. Jean-Philip Robitaille is currently involved as a member of the board of directors of Pallia-Vie, a palliative care home dedicated to providing compassionate and dignified care.
The Syscomax family loves to stay active, and physical activity is an integral part of our culture. That’s why we actively participate in initiatives such as Make-A-Wish® Québec’s 48-Hour Bike Challenge or the Run for Our Health event—annual gatherings that rally our teams around unifying causes. In memory of our colleague Valérie Delorme, we are also deeply committed to ALS Québec, for whom we design and support several initiatives and events each year.
Because at the heart of Syscomax are, above all, committed men and women who stand in solidarity and strive to make a real difference.
