Les Tours Axial

The Axial Towers represent a large-scale residential development delivered by Syscomax and are among the first major projects to be developed in the rapidly growing Saint-Elzéar area in Laval, near Boulevard Chomedey and Highway 440. This high-density rental project is part of a broader urban transformation responding to the increasing demand for quality housing in a fast-expanding district.

Phase 1 consists of a 12-storey residential tower comprising 106 rental units, with a total living area of 108,000 sq. ft. (10,033 sq. m.). The building includes a rooftop terrace, a fitness centre, and an underground parking facility. Designed with a focus on performance and durability, the tower features robust materials such as precast concrete and a white roofing membrane that helps reduce the urban heat island effect. High-efficiency mechanical systems, including gas-fired boilers and domestic hot water recirculation, further enhance the building’s energy performance. From an environmental standpoint, multiple underground retention basins were integrated to manage stormwater, allowing runoff control comparable to a naturally vegetated site.

Building on this first phase, Phase 2 adds 124 residential units distributed over 14 storeys. Fully constructed in concrete, this second tower contributes an additional 141,788 sq. ft. (13,171 sq. m.) of living space, bringing the total development to nearly 250,000 sq. ft. (23,204 sq. m.). This 100% rental residential project responds to the growing demand for condo-style housing, combining comfort, architectural quality, and thoughtful densification in a rapidly developing area.

Together, both phases of the Axial Towers highlight Syscomax’s ability to deliver complex, large-scale residential developments while actively contributing to the structured growth of emerging urban hubs in the Laval region.
