The Project
Experiencing rapid growth, Orange Traffic, a company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of traffic technology products and traffic signal systems, entrusted Syscomax with the expansion of its manufacturing facility. Through this expansion project, Orange Traffic’s leadership aimed to address two key challenges: increasing production, raw material storage, and finished goods warehousing areas, while also creating industrial rental spaces to help address the current shortage of storage facilities within the manufacturing sector.
The expansion of the building, located in the industrial park of Mirabel and originally designed and constructed by the Syscomax team in 2015, was carried out across two sections of the existing facility, adding 16,195 sq. ft. (1,504 m²) and bringing the building’s total area to 37,750 sq. ft. Architect Jean-François Dupuis, commissioned for the project, ensured architectural continuity with the original building by harmonizing materials and respecting the layout and positioning established in the first phase. Completed over a period of approximately six months, the project was delivered in November 2021.
“We are very pleased to have collaborated once again with Syscomax on the expansion of our facilities. Through this project, we are investing in the future and continued growth of our company. Working with a high-level partner such as Syscomax was essential to our process, as their professionalism and expertise helped secure every step of the project.”
