The Project

In a continued effort to strengthen its community involvement, Syscomax partnered with Moisson Laurentides to support the organization in its mission to serve a greater number of residents across the Laurentians by improving its operational capacity and efficiency.

The building, with a total area of 24,610 sq. ft. (2,286 sq. m.), is primarily intended for the storage of a large volume of food supplies. In addition to doubling its original footprint, Moisson Laurentides now benefits from a refrigeration and freezing space that has been quadrupled in size, a dedicated dry food storage area, and multiple workspaces designed to accommodate a large number of volunteers simultaneously.

As part of this initiative, Syscomax also contributed a $250,000 donation to the non-profit organization by providing, at no cost, the architectural plans and specifications for the new facility.

“We are very grateful for Syscomax’s involvement in our project, which was the catalyst that allowed us to think bigger and serve a greater number of people. The food needs in the region are critical, and it had become impossible for us to meet them within our former facilities. Throughout the process, we also had full confidence in the adherence to the established parameters and in the quality of the environment Syscomax delivered. This allows us to focus on our core mission: fighting hunger, nourishing hope.”
