Scheduled for completion in July 2027, Liria Saint-Jérôme builds on the residential concept introduced with Place Liria Blainville and marks an important milestone in the revitalization of downtown Saint-Jérôme.

Developed in close collaboration with the City of Saint-Jérôme, TLA Architectes, and several professional partners, this ambitious project addresses the growing need for urban densification and a more diversified housing offering in the Laurentians. Located on a former commercial site at the intersection of Saint-Georges and Labelle streets, the building will help revitalize this strategic area by creating a modern, accessible, and well-connected living environment. A pedestrian pathway integrated into the site design will link the two main thoroughfares and promote active mobility within the downtown core.

Rising 10 storeys and featuring two levels of underground parking, Liria Saint-Jérôme will encompass a building footprint of 29,207 sq. ft. (2,713 m²) and include 166 rental units, ranging from studios to one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The project will offer contemporary living spaces designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele while promoting proximity to services and an enhanced quality of life.

Designed as a true living environment, the building will feature shared amenities dedicated to relaxation and well-being, including an indoor pool, fitness centre, reception room, and lounge located on the top floor. A rooftop terrace and community garden will further enrich the resident experience, while ground-floor retail spaces will contribute to the vitality of the neighbourhood and provide convenient services to both residents and the broader community.

Developed with sustainability in mind, the project will include electric vehicle charging stations upon completion, with the infrastructure in place to accommodate additional stations as demand evolves. Designed by TLA Architectes, the building’s architecture features a masonry envelope accented with metal cladding details. The extensively glazed ground floor and the fully windowed south- and east-facing façades of the top floor create a contemporary and light-filled aesthetic.

The project presents several technical challenges, including its zero-lot-line configuration, the clay soil conditions, and its integration within a dense urban environment. Through careful planning and a strong commitment to health and safety, Syscomax will ensure the efficient execution of the work while minimizing impacts on neighbouring properties and pedestrian circulation.

As the first mixed-use densification project in the heart of downtown Saint-Jérôme, Liria Saint-Jérôme will play a key role in transforming the urban landscape and creating new opportunities for residents to live at the centre of their community, close to services, businesses, and public spaces.
