Les complexes Isatis

Developed in successive phases across the Montérégie region, the Isatis Sport trilogy demonstrates Syscomax’s ability to design and deliver modern, high-performance recreational facilities tailored to the growing needs of municipalities. The series begins in Chambly, continues in Saint-Constant, and concludes in Saint-Hyacinthe, forming a cohesive network of ice sports and community-focused complexes.

The first project, Isatis Sport Chambly, was developed to replace and modernize aging municipal infrastructure by providing a high-quality sports facility. The complex includes a full program featuring food service areas, a sports retail shop, a gym, and administrative offices, in addition to its ice surfaces, for a total area of 108,223 sq. ft. (10,059 m2).

Building on this success, Syscomax delivered Isatis Sport Saint-Constant, a similar yet optimized facility that strengthens the region’s sports offering. The project encompasses 88,464 sq. ft. (8,217 m²) and continues the same integrated approach to recreational infrastructure.

The trilogy is completed with Isatis Sport Saint-Hyacinthe, a 90,000 sq. ft. (8,361 m²) facility that further expands the regional network with a comprehensive mix of sports, retail, and community spaces, including dining areas, a gym, specialty retail, and office space.

Across all three projects, a consistent technical and architectural approach was applied, focused on performance and sustainability. This includes NHL-standard ice surfaces, 100% LED lighting, and CO₂ refrigeration systems designed to recover heat energy. This recovered energy is reused to significantly offset heating and domestic hot water demands, reflecting an integrated strategy for energy efficiency and sustainable facility design.
