The Project
Seeking to establish a state-of-the-art facility to support its research and development activities, Bauer mandated Syscomax to construct the Bauer Innovation Center, a 100,000 sq. ft. (9,290 m²) building located along Highway 15 in Blainville.
Designed as a true innovation environment, the facility brings together dedicated spaces for design, prototyping, and the experimentation of new ice sports products. It includes large open-concept areas that foster collaboration between design, engineering, and product development teams, as well as technical zones that enable hands-on testing and rapid iteration of ongoing innovations.
The center also features specialized areas for performance testing, alongside demonstration and experimentation spaces directly connected to product development activities. This configuration helps shorten development cycles and accelerate the time-to-market of new solutions.
Defined by abundant natural light, contemporary architecture, and integrated wellness amenities such as a gym and relaxation areas, the workplace was designed to foster creativity and well-being. Set within a wooded environment, it further enhances focus and supports an innovation-driven mindset.
