The Project
To continue ensuring its services, Aeroterm chose to build a brand-new 68,377 sq ft (6,351 sq m) facility dedicated to the maintenance of equipment used for baggage loading and unloading.
The design of this large-scale building incorporates several specialized technical features. It includes a concrete slab engineered to support heavy “push-back” vehicles weighing over 65 tons, used to push aircraft away from terminal gates. The project also integrates key considerations for natural daylighting and energy efficiency.
In addition, the building meets the most stringent requirements for sanitary and stormwater management and treatment, ensuring the prevention of any environmental contamination.
Finally, a key point of pride for Syscomax lies in the optimized site layout, which made it possible to preserve century-old trees by freeing up maneuvering areas through the use of gabion walls.
